HARDER DENTAL CORPORATION
Richard A. Harder, Jr., D.D.S. established his Irvine practice
in 1986 as a result of the heavy growth anticipated in the
Irvine community where he and his wife desired to live and
raise a family. Dr. Harder has strived to maintain a smaller,
more family-oriented practice with an emphasis on quality dental
care and personalized customer service. There has been an
emphasis to utilize up-to-date technology and restorative
materials. Dr. Harder recently opened a new, up-to-date
office located in the Woodbridge Square Medical plaza in April,
2005.

Dr. Phil Gendreau graduated top of his class in clinical dentistry at U.S.C. School of Dentistry. Since 2007, he has been providing care in Orange County in all aspects of general dentistry. He has a special interest in prosthetics and cosmetic dentistry.
After graduating from Santa Margarita High School, Dr. Phil obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of California, San Diego. While earning his dental degree at U.S.C, Dr. Phil managed to participate as a volunteer in various community health outreach programs including U.S.C. Mobile Clinic, Union Rescue Mission, Children’s Dental Center, Queen’s Care, L.A. County Hospital, Rancho Los Amigos Clinic, Ayuda and other schools in Los Angeles.
His continuing education in dentistry has included topics related to implants, advanced techniques in root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics using the Invisilign technique. For the past six years, Dr. Phil has been a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He and his wife, Mia, live in Irvine. |

Dr. Rick Harder graduated in 1979 from U.S.C. School of Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Since graduation from U.S.C, he has been a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. He is a Quality Assurance Consultant certified by the California Association of Dental Plans.
Rick is also founder and director of A Helping Hand-at Home, a unique enterprise that provides dental care and living assistance services to seniors who are home-bound or living in nursing facilities, the disabled and persons recovering from surgery or injury. He mentors other dentists to serve in this role.
Dr. Rick Harder has also worked part-time on staff in several positions within his church. He has consulted with major insurance companies and other dental practices on matters relating to quality assurance and practice management. Rick and his wife, Diane, have three daughters and six grandchildren. They have lived in the Irvine community since 1983.

Pia (R.D.H., M.P.H.) received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from U.S.C. School of Dentistry in 2002. After two years of working as a dental hygienist, she pursued a Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis in Health Promotion from U.S.C. Keck School of Medicine, graduating in 2005.
Pia ia also certified as a Registered Dental Hygienist. As a health professional, Pia is committed to providing educational and clinical services through the promotion of optimal oral health. She currently lives in Irvine, and has been a long-time resident of the Woodbridge community. Pia works full-time in our practice and teaches part-time at the U.S.C. School of Dentistry. |

Deborah (R.D.H.) graduated from the University of Toronto School of Dental Hygiene in 1970. She continued her training there with expanded functions in restorative dentistry to receive her certificate in 1972. She has been a member of C.D.H.A and A.H.D.A and has more than 35 years of clinical experience with an emphasis on periodontal therapy.
Her special interests include golf, travel and volunteer work providing well being care in the geriatric community. Debbie is married, has two children, ages 24 and 28, and she lives in Mission Viejo. |
