What do I do in the case of a knocked-out tooth?
If you have a child and their tooth has been knocked out, contact us immediately. Our staff will work with you to identify your specific situation and determine the best plan for treatment. It is recommended that you locate the tooth, clean or rinse it, then place it back into its socket. If you are unable to place the tooth back, you can put it in a glass of milk while on your way to our office. If there are additional symptoms such as uncontrolled bleeding, unconsciousness, or bodily injury, you can go to your nearest hospital emergency room.
