Missing Teeth: Full denture

Missing Teeth: Implant (bar-supported denture)

Missing Teeth: Removable partial denture (RPD)

Teeth allow you to eat, speak properly, and help define the shape of your face. Missing teeth can be replaced with dentures.  Depending on the number of teeth that are gone, a full denture or a partial denture may be the right solution for you.

If you are only missing one tooth, or even a few teeth, a partial denture can be used to fill the space.  Unlike a bridge, a denture is a removable prosthetic device and can be removed for proper maintenance.

A full denture is custom built to fit your mouth.  Modern techniques for their construction have made them more comfortable and realistic, giving the wearer confidence in their appearance while giving practical advantages.  Drs. Harder, Pham, and associates will ensure a proper fit and will work with you to create the look and feel you want.  Rather than the unattractive, ill-fitting contraptions of the past, your dentures will be difficult to distinguish from the real thing.  You may even forget you are wearing them.

Although dentures are removable devices, it is possible to hold them in place with the aid of implants.  The denture can either be screwed or snapped onto the implants, making them even more stable and comfortable for the wearer.

Drs. Harder, Pham, and associates are general dentists offering dentures to patients in the Irvine area.  To learn if this is the right option for you, or to explore other dental restoration options, call our office to make an appointment today.
